Paying with eesy

You can pay for your order online or with the waiter.

Online Payment​

Supported Payment Methods​

  • Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Apple Pay (iOS)
  • Google Pay (Android)

Add Payment Method​

  1. Open Account → Payment Methods
  2. Tap Add Payment Method
  3. Enter your card details or choose Apple/Google Pay
  4. The card is securely stored with Stripe

Pay During Order​

  1. Add products to cart
  2. Tap Order Now
  3. Select your payment method
  4. Optionally add tip
  5. Confirm payment

Add Tip​

When paying online, you can add a tip:

  1. Choose a suggested percentage (e.g., 5%, 10%, 15%)
  2. Or enter a custom amount
  3. The tip is added to the total

The tip goes directly to the service staff.

After paying with a waiter, you may receive a notification that lets you leave a tip afterwards:

  1. Open the tip link from the notification
  2. Choose an amount:
    • For smaller orders: Fixed, rounded-up amounts
    • For larger orders: Percentages (e.g., 5%, 10%, 15%)
    • Or enter a custom amount
  3. Confirm payment with your stored payment method
Minimum and Double Booking

The minimum tip is €1.00. Only one tip per link per order is allowed.

Pay with Waiter​

If you don't want to pay online:

  1. Order without online payment
  2. Tap Call Waiter → To Pay
  3. Pay cash or card with the waiter

Payment Confirmation​

After successful payment:

  • You receive a confirmation in the app
  • The order is sent to the kitchen
  • You can track the order status

Troubleshooting​

"Payment Failed"​

  • Check card details: Is the card still valid?
  • Check balance: Is there enough money on the card?
  • Different payment method: Try a different card

"Additional Authentication Required"​

Some banks require confirmation:

  1. Open your banking app
  2. Confirm the payment
  3. Return to eesy

"No Payment Method"​

  1. Open Account → Payment Methods
  2. Add a payment method
  3. Try again

Security​

  • Stripe: Payments are securely processed via Stripe
  • Encryption: All data is encrypted
  • No Storage: eesy doesn't store card data itself

Receipts​

After payment:

  • The receipt is available in the app under Orders
  • You can save it as PDF or share it
