Payment Methods

eesy Manager supports various payment methods for billing.

Available Payment Methods

Cash Payment

The default payment method. The guest pays with cash.

  • Symbol: Bill icon
  • Selection: Automatically preselected

Card Payment

For debit cards, credit cards, and contactless payments.

  • Symbol: Credit card icon
  • Requirement: Must be enabled in Space settings
Enable Card Payment

Admins can enable card payment under Admin Panel → Space Settings → Offer Card Payment.

Online Payment (eesy App)

Guests who order via the eesy app can pay directly in the app.

  • Payment Methods: Credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay
  • Requirement: Stripe integration must be set up
  • Advantage: No cash handling, automatic tip prompt

Selecting Payment Method

  1. Open Billing
  2. Add products to the bill
  3. Tap Checkout
  4. Select the payment method:
    • Cash for cash payment
    • Card for card payment

Calculating Change

For cash payments, you can calculate change:

  1. Enter the amount received in the Given field
  2. The Change is automatically calculated

Example:

Bill amount:      $45.80
Given: $50.00
─────────────────────────
Change: $4.20

Splitting the Bill

If multiple guests want to pay separately:

  1. Tap Split by
  2. Enter the number of guests
  3. The amount per person is displayed

Example:

Total amount:     $60.00
Split by: 3
─────────────────────────
Per person: $20.00

Mixed Payments

If a guest wants to pay partially with cash and partially with card:

  1. Add only the portion of products to be paid with cash
  2. Process with Cash
  3. Add the remaining products to the bill
  4. Process with Card
