Cancellations & Discounts

eesy Manager allows you to cancel products and apply discounts.

Cancellation

A cancellation sets the price of a product to $0 and documents the reason.

Cancellation Reasons

Reason	Usage
Incorrect Order	Wrong product ordered or prepared
Breakage	Product broken or spilled
On the House	Product given to guest for free
Guest Left	Guest left restaurant without paying
Own Consumption	Product consumed by staff

How to Cancel a Product

1. Open Billing
2. Tap Price Adjustment
3. Under Cancellation, select the appropriate reason
4. The price is set to $0
5. Tap Apply

Documentation

Every cancellation is documented for tax purposes. Always select the correct reason.

Discounts

There are various discount types:

Percentage Discount

A percentage reduction on the price.

1. Tap Price Adjustment
2. Select Percentage Discount
3. Enter the percentage (e.g., 10%)
4. Optional: Set maximum amount
5. Tap Apply

Example:

Original price:   $50.00
Discount:            10%
─────────────────────────
New price:        $45.00

Fixed Amount Discount

A fixed reduction in currency.

1. Tap Price Adjustment
2. Select Fixed Amount Discount
3. Enter the amount (e.g., $5.00)
4. Tap Apply

Example:

Original price:   $50.00
Discount:          $5.00
─────────────────────────
New price:        $45.00

Free Product

A product is made completely free.

1. Tap Price Adjustment
2. Select Free Product
3. Select the affected product
4. Tap Apply

Gift

A gift without product reference.

1. Tap Price Adjustment
2. Select Gift
3. Optionally enter a description (e.g., "Birthday")
4. Tap Apply

Scanning Discount Codes

Discount codes can be scanned via QR code:

1. Tap Scan QR Code on the billing page
2. Scan the QR code on the voucher or coupon
3. The discount is automatically applied

This works for:

• Discount coupons
• Loyalty cards
• Promotional codes

Coupons

Coupons are preconfigured discounts that can be redeemed via code.

Redeem Coupon

1. Tap Scan QR Code or Price Adjustment
2. Enter the coupon code or scan it
3. The discount is automatically applied

Coupon Types

Type	Description
Percentage Coupon	e.g., "10% off everything"
Fixed Amount Coupon	e.g., "$5 discount"
Product Coupon	e.g., "1 free coffee"

Permissions

Action	Who Can
Apply discounts	All servers
Process cancellations	All servers
Cancellation reason "On the House"	All servers
Higher discounts	Depending on Space configuration

Statistics

All cancellations and discounts are recorded in statistics:

• Cancellations by Reason: How often each reason was used
• Discount Volume: Total value of discounts given
• Loss from Cancellations: Revenue loss from cancellations
