Cancellations & Discounts

eesy Manager allows you to cancel products and apply discounts.

Cancellation​

A cancellation sets the price of a product to $0 and documents the reason.

Cancellation Reasons​

ReasonUsage
Incorrect OrderWrong product ordered or prepared
BreakageProduct broken or spilled
On the HouseProduct given to guest for free
Guest LeftGuest left restaurant without paying
Own ConsumptionProduct consumed by staff

How to Cancel a Product​

  1. Open Billing
  2. Tap Price Adjustment
  3. Under Cancellation, select the appropriate reason
  4. The price is set to $0
  5. Tap Apply
  6. Confirm the cancellation by tapping Cancel

Every cancellation is documented for tax purposes. Always select the correct reason.

Discounts​

There are various discount types:

Percentage Discount​

A percentage reduction on the price.

  1. Tap Price Adjustment
  2. Select Percentage Discount
  3. Enter the percentage (e.g., 10%)
  4. Tap Apply

Example:

Original price:   $50.00
Discount:            10%
─────────────────────────
New price:        $45.00

Fixed Amount Discount​

A fixed reduction in the restaurant's currency.

  1. Tap Price Adjustment
  2. Select Fixed Amount Discount
  3. Enter the amount (e.g., $5.00)
  4. Tap Apply

Example:

Original price:   $50.00
Discount:          $5.00
─────────────────────────
New price:        $45.00

Scanning Discount Codes​

Discount codes can be scanned via QR code:

  1. Tap Scan QR Code on the billing page
  2. Scan the QR code
  3. The discount is automatically applied

This works for:

  • Vouchers created and sold with eesy Manager
  • Loyalty cards (loyalty program)

Vouchers​

Vouchers are preconfigured discounts that can be redeemed via QR code.

Redeem Voucher​

  1. Tap Scan QR Code or Price Adjustment
  2. Enter the voucher code or scan it
  3. The discount is automatically applied
