Online Payment

Online payment allows guests to pay directly via the eesy app.

Payment Provider​

eesy uses Stripe for processing online payments.

Supported payment methods:

  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

Setting Up Stripe​

Step 1: Stripe Account​

  1. Open Admin Panel → Online Payment
  2. Tap Connect with Stripe
  3. You'll be redirected to Stripe
  4. Create a Stripe account or sign in
  5. Connect your bank account for payouts
  6. After completion, you'll be redirected back to eesy Manager

Step 2: Verification​

Stripe requires verification of your business:

  • Business details
  • Bank account
  • Identity verification

Verification may take a few days.

Step 3: Activation​

After successful verification:

  1. Status changes to Active
  2. Guests can pay online
  3. Payouts are automatically sent to your bank account

Tip Suggestions​

Guests are shown tip suggestions during online payment.

Configure Percentages​

You can set three percentages as suggestions:

  1. Open Online Payment
  2. Enter the three percentages (e.g., 5%, 10%, 15%)
  3. Save changes

Default suggestions:

  • 5%
  • 10%
  • 15%

Customize Message​

The message shown to guests during tip selection:

  1. Enter a message
  2. Save

Example: "How satisfied were you with our service?"

Guest Options​

Guests can:

  • Choose one of the suggested percentages
  • Choose 0% (no tip)
  • Enter a custom percentage

Fees​

Stripe charges fees for each transaction:

  • Standard rate: approx. 1.4% + €0.25 per transaction (EU cards)
  • International cards: higher fees

Find exact fees in your Stripe dashboard.

Payouts​

Stripe automatically pays earnings to your bank account:

  • Payout schedule: Daily, weekly, or monthly (configurable in Stripe)
  • Payout time: 2-7 business days depending on bank

Check Status​

Troubleshooting​

"Online Payment Not Available"​

  • Check Stripe connection
  • Check verification status in Stripe
  • Payouts enabled?

Payment Failed​

  • Guest should try different payment method
  • For repeated failures: Contact Stripe support
