Receipt Printing

Receipt printing allows orders to be automatically printed in the kitchen. This requires an eesy print server.

Overview

Order → WiFi → eesy Print Server → USB → Receipt Printer

The eesy print server is a separate device that:

  1. Receives orders via WiFi
  2. Sends them via USB to connected printers
  3. Automatically cuts receipts

Requirements

  • eesy Print Server: Hardware with installed print server software, you can obtain the device from our sales team (vertrieb@eesy.app)
  • Receipt Printer: ESC/POS-compatible thermal printer with USB connection. You can also obtain these from our sales team
  • Internet Connection: Print server must be connected to the internet via WiFi or LAN
  • Print Server Account: A team member configured as print server

Setup

Full setup is done in the Admin Panel under Receipt Printers.

Quick Overview

  1. Create print server account in Admin Panel
  2. Set up device (our sales team will be happy to assist you)
  3. Connect printer via USB
  4. Configure printer in Admin Panel

Receipt Layout

A printed order receipt contains:

Products can be assigned to different print groups. A separate receipt is printed for each group.

Example:

  • Print Group 1: Food items
  • Print Group 2: Beverages

For an order with burger, fries, and cola, two receipts are printed:

  1. Burger + Fries
  2. Cola

Configuration is done in the Admin Panel under Receipt Printers.

The following options can be configured for each printer:

Troubleshooting

Printer Not Printing

  1. Check if the print server is connected to the internet via WiFi or LAN
  2. Check the USB connection
  3. Check if paper is loaded
  4. Restart the print server
  5. If problems persist, contact our support (support@eesy.app)

Missing Receipt

  1. Check if the product is assigned to a print group

Quality Issues

  • Blurry print: Check paper width
  • Cut-off characters: Adjust paper width
  • No cut: Enable receipt cut

Supported Printers

The eesy print server supports all ESC/POS-compatible thermal printers. Tested models:

  • Epson TM series
Recommendation

Use printers with 80 mm paper width for best readability.
