Catalog Configuration

Here you configure which products guests can see and order in the eesy app.

Ordering Function

Enable/Disable Ordering

  • Enabled: Guests can order via the app
  • Disabled: Menu view only, no orders

Call Server

Guests can call a server to the table with one tap:

  • Enabled: "Call Server" button appears
  • Disabled: Function not available

You can enable or disable this function separately for the web app.

Active Catalog

Choose the catalog shown to guests:

  1. Open the Active Catalog dropdown
  2. Select a catalog
  3. Only products from this catalog appear in the app
Multiple Catalogs

If you have different menus (e.g., lunch and dinner), you can quickly switch here.

Categories

In the guest app, products are organized in categories. Unlike nested folders in eesy Manager, categories cannot be nested.

Create Category

  1. Tap New Category
  2. Enter a title (e.g., "Beverages")
  3. Choose an emoji as symbol
  4. The category is created

Edit Category

  1. Select the category
  2. Change title or emoji
  3. Save changes

Sort Categories

The order of categories determines how they appear in the app:

  1. Drag a category via drag-and-drop
  2. Drop it at the desired position

Assign Products

Add Product to Category

Each product can be assigned to one, none, or multiple categories:

How to assign:

  1. Select a product from the list
  2. Tap Categories
  3. Enable the desired categories
  4. Save

View Products in Category

  1. Select a category
  2. All assigned products are shown
  3. Sort products via drag-and-drop

Tips

  • Clear categories: Not too many categories (5-10 is ideal)
  • Distinct names: Guests should immediately understand what they'll find
  • Use highlights: Mark recommendations as highlights in the catalog
  • Seasonal adjustments: Adjust categories seasonally
