Self-Pickup

Offer guests the option to pick up orders themselves at a pickup location.

Enable​

  1. Open Admin Panel → Self-Pickup
  2. Enable Offer Self-Pickup
  3. The option appears for orders in the eesy app

Configure Pickup Location​

Description​

Describe the pickup location so guests can find it:

Examples:

  • "At the counter"
  • "Window 2 (left of entrance)"
  • "In outdoor area under the awning"

Photo​

Optionally upload a photo of the pickup location:

  1. Tap Add Photo
  2. Select an image
  3. The photo is shown to guests
Recommendation

A photo helps guests quickly find the pickup location.

Payment​

Online Payment Required​

You can specify whether guests must pay before pickup:

DisabledGuest can pay at pickup

Advantages of required prepayment:

  • No no-shows
  • Faster pickup
  • No cash handling

Disadvantages:

  • Some guests prefer cash payment
  • Requires Stripe integration

Guest Flow​

When a guest chooses self-pickup:

  1. Guest selects products in eesy app
  2. During ordering, they choose Self-Pickup
  3. If required: Online payment
  4. Order is sent to kitchen
  5. Guest is notified when order is ready
  6. Guest picks up order at pickup location

Server View​

In eesy Manager, servers see self-pickup orders:

  • Label: "Self-Pickup" as marker
  • Monitor: Dedicated pickup monitor for overview
  • Notification: Automatically inform guest when ready

Tips​

  • Clear description: Pickup location should be clearly identifiable
  • Use photo: Reduces questions
  • Prepayment recommended: Avoid no-shows with high order volume
