Space Settings

Here you configure basic settings for your Space.

General

Space Name

The internal name of the Space, visible to all team members.

Timezone

The timezone determines when the billing period begins and ends.

1. Select the timezone from the list
2. The current time in that timezone is displayed

Auto-Detection

Tap Auto-Detect to set the timezone based on your location.

Billing Period Offset

By default, the billing period begins and ends at midnight. You can shift this:

Example:

• Offset: 6 hours
• New billing period: 06:00 to 06:00 the next day

This is useful for establishments open past midnight.

Currency

The currency is set when creating the Space.

Cannot be Changed

The currency cannot be changed after creating the Space.

Waiter Settings

Voice Input

Enable or disable voice input for orders.

• Enabled: Waiters can dictate orders
• Disabled: Only manual input possible

Letters in Table Number

Determine whether table numbers can contain letters:

• Enabled: "A5", "Patio-West", etc. possible
• Disabled: Only numbers allowed ("1", "5", "10")

Offer Card Payment

Enable the "Card Payment" option during billing.

• Enabled: Waiters can choose "Cash" or "Card"
• Disabled: Only cash payment available

Offer To Go

Enable consumption type selection for orders.

• Enabled: The consumption type (Dine-in / To Go) can be selected per table when taking orders
• Disabled: All products are treated as "Dine-in"

Consumption Type at Order Time

The consumption type is set per table when taking the order, not during billing. This ensures correct tax recording according to DSFinV-K.

App Design

Logo

Upload a logo for your Space. The logo appears:

• In the Admin Panel
• On receipts (if enabled)
• In the app header

Accent Color

Choose an accent color for the app:

1. Tap the color field
2. Choose a color from the picker
3. App elements will be displayed in this color

Customer Receipts

Settings for printed customer receipts:

Setting	Description
Logo	Company logo on receipt
Company Name	Restaurant name
Address	Full address
Tax Type	Choose between Tax Number and VAT ID as tax identifier on the receipt
Tax Identifier	The respective tax number or VAT ID
Show Waiter Name	Waiter name on receipt
Farewell Text	Text at end of receipt (e.g., "Thank you!")

Tip Settings

Default Tip Type

Choose the preset tip type:

• Employee Tip (TrinkgeldAN): Tax-free to waiter
• Employer Tip (TrinkgeldAG): Taxable to restaurant

Tip Type Changeable

Determine if tip type can be changed per transaction:

• Enabled: Waiter can choose at each billing
• Disabled: Always use default type

Tip Notifications

After paying with a waiter, guests can receive a push notification inviting them to leave a tip afterwards. Configurable under Online Payment with delay (1–60 min), custom title and body (with {space_name} and {waiter_name} placeholders).

Floor Plan

The floor plan lets you create a visual representation of your restaurant with tables and decorations.

Create Floor Plan

1. Open Space Settings → Floor Plan
2. Tap Create Floor Plan
3. The editor opens with an empty canvas

Add Tables

Single table:

1. Tap Add Table
2. Enter the table name
3. Drag the table to the desired position

Multiple tables:

1. Tap Add Multiple Tables
2. Enter a prefix and count (e.g., "Table" 1–10)
3. Tables are distributed across the canvas

Editor Features

• Drag-and-drop: Position tables by dragging
• Multi-select: Hold Shift to select multiple tables and move them together
• Decorations: Add walls, icons, and text labels for orientation
• Multiple floors: Switch between different floors via tabs
• Auto-save: Changes are saved automatically

Table Map (Live View)

The table map shows the current status of all tables in real-time:

Tap a table to open the associated order.
